Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Kara DeKernion, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide services in the form of teacher consultation during Professional Learning Communities, model lessons and individual meetings to ensure effective literacy practices aligned to Common Core State Standards gather individualized assessment information on each student and work with teachers to design effective lessons and interventions where necessary, at Sequoia Elementary School, for the period of January 16, 2014 through June 13, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $18,280.00.
