Title: Approval by the Board of Education of an After School Programs (For School Based Programs Not Funded By ASES, 21st CCLC and OFCY) Memorandum of Understanding between the District and Sylvan Learning, Piedmont, CA, for the latter to provide Response to Intervention for 16 Joaquin Miller Elementary School English Language Learners in Reading, with an intervention goal of providing additional support in Reading instruction for ELL students who are in need, yet who are not being provided intervention during the school day; provide the teachers, instruction, materials, a parent information night, as well as conducting all outreach efforts to students selected by administrators and teaching staff at Joaquin Miller Elementary School, for the term July 1, 2013 to August 29, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $8,000.00.
