Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and MBA Project, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 480 hours of service at four (4) continuation high school sites, to conduct classroom and group anti-tobacco/marijuana presentations, drug awareness sessions for students violating OUSD tobacco/drug free policies, conduct cessation and life skills counseling, and academic advocacy; partner with High School site Coordination of Services Teams (COST) and administrators on tobacco/marijuana use referral and intervention process and survey all program students for mandatory health education and multi-session counseling, complete monthly reports, and attend all program meetings, through the Family, Schools, and Community Partnerships Department, for the period of August 26, 2013 through June 6, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $25,200.00.
