Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and S&S Math Services, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 168.42 hours of services to guide and facilitate the continuing development of a rigorous mathematics program by working with teachers and ; administrators to improve mathematics achievement of CUES students by developing a rigorous math program, including program elements 1) deepening teacher content knowledge through ongoing professional development and grade level meetings; 2) creating school systems to support mathematics, including inquiry cycles based on student work protocols; 3) developing standards-based strategies for monitoring student progress and 4) providing sufficient training to consistently deliver standards-based mathematics instruction at Glenview Elementary School, for the period of May 9, 2013 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $16,000.00.
