Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Refugee Transitions, Oakland, CA, for the latter 1) to recruit, train, manage and stipend bilingual refugee community navigators (CNs) to help with the educational communications for the following refugee and newcomers student population who have limited English skills and language minorities in the District: Bhutanese (Nepali speakers), Burmese, Karen, Karenni, and Mam; provide translation at monthly meetings, doing.
