Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Be The Change Consulting, LLC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to work collaboratively with District's Math Department and the After School Programs Office to create first grade after school math curriculum as well as facilitate a monthly After School Math Learning Community for 12 participating elementary after school programs (Ascend, Bridges, Brookfield, Greenleaf, Horace Mann, International Community School, Lafayette, Markham, Parker, RISE, Manzanita SEED, and Sequoia); provide professional development training for the after school programs staff, with said curriculum available to the Math Department and any and all after school programs working in partnership with the District's After School Programs Office, for the period of September 1, 2012 through August 2, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $36,500.00.
