Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Partners in Schools Innovations, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide 1000 hours of service to the African-American Male Achievement Program as follows:1) Manhood Development Program: Classes that foster student engagement in school and student health; 2) African American Family Summits : outreach to families and organizing workshops and other activities; 3) Voluntary School Study Teams: support to schools to improve school climate and better support student achievement and well-being; 4) Professional development and informal question for school in central office staff to tackle systematic inequities that produce racial, gender and ethnic disparities in achievement and well-being of students and families, as outlined in the Scope of Work, for the period of July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $80,900.00.
