Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Zaretta Hammond, Berkeley,CA, for the latter to provide 200 hours of services to support the Secondary Collaborative Central Office Literacy Specialist Team, by providing professional development during some of these meetings; be available as a support during team meetings in planning for Professional Development days for site literacy coaches; help team craft a position around the role of cultural competence and culturally responsive pedagogy in the design of strategic reading courses, for the period October 1, 2012 through December 20, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
