Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and National Equity Project, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 208 hours of service to Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction (LCI) Department in the following areas: Executive Coaching: Supporting the leadership of the LCI Managers Team; contributing to the design of professional development strand for LCI staff focused on adult learning; helping LCI leadership's articulation of a District-wide LCI approach to developing teacher leadership supporting their leadership of the Inquiry Cohort initiative; Team Development: Design and agenda planning for a two day LCI Managers Retreat; Facilitation (partial) of LCI Managers Retreat; coaching support for design of ongoing LCI Managers team meetings; and Leadership Development: Developing facilitative leadership skills (team, design, agenda design, meeting facilitation skills); Developing leadership for equity capacity; Developing adaptive leadership capacity, for the period October 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $40,800.00.
