Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Shirley Yee, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 585 hours of service to oversee the overall project management of the Office of Alternative Education’s Measure Y Gang Prevention Grant, with specific duties including the following: 1) outreach and coordination for 33 gang awareness trainings to Oakland schools and partner agencies; 2) oversight, outreach, and coordination for Parent workshop Series; 3) data collection and reporting as required for program evaluation and grant reporting; 4) coordination and facilitation of quarterly Interagency Gang Prevention Collaborative; and 5) quarterly presentations to local Neighborhood Crime Prevention Councils, for the period September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $23,400.00.
