Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Rita Renjitham Alfred, Richmond, CA, for the latter to provide 317 hours of training assistant principal, counselors, teacher team leaders, teachers and other staff and student leaders in understanding, implementing and following up with Restorative Justice (RJ) principles and practices; provide support and hands-on modeling of practices for all adults and all students with the goal to build capacity of leadership team to sustain Restorative Justice practices as an integral part of school's culture and climate; and provide RJ Resources for staff to be posted on bulletin boards at United for Success Academy, for the period of November 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $19,020.00.
