Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Eva La, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 80 hours of coordinating or organizing parent education workshops and/or activities; communicate with families regarding student progress and achievement, assist in promoting parent engagment in SSC and ELAC; assist teachers in communciation with parents in their primary langages; communicate with parents about school events and services, which relate to students' achievement at Bret Harte Middle School, for the period of September 15, 2012 through June 15, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $2,000.00.
