Approval by Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Seneca Center, San Leandro, CA, for the latter to provide 2,500 hours of mental health and behavioral support and intervention, using the Response to Intervention (RTI) framework utilizing a licensed clinical interventionist, who will help facilitate Coordination of Services Team meetings in collaboration with the schools COST coordinator; conduct professional development; consul and plan with school-wide leadership; support teacher planning; assist with instruction of identified students and student groups; provide case management services; and assist with the identification of school-wide practices with regards to student behavior and social emotional learning including implementation of an Advisory Curriculum at Elmhurst Community Preparatory School, for the September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, at a cost not to exceed $125,000.00.
