Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and California Youth Outreach-Oakland, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 1,468 hours of service as a partner and subcontractor of the OUSD Alternative Education’s Gang Reduction grant with the City of Oakland as follows: 1) provide 3 sections of the 10 week (3 hour per week) Aggression Replacement Training Program at selected alternative schools; 2) provide 400 hours of follow up case management services for student participants; 3) provide additional 28 hour per week general site support in the form of crisis intervention, family outreach, and conflict mediation; 4) attend quarter interagency Gang Prevention Collaborative meetings and participate in collaborative’s work groups; and (5) provide data as requested for program evaluation, for the period September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $73,400.00.
