Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Higher Ground, NDC, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 2,352 hours of service including in-class support and pro-social skill building group for 20 identified girls and boys receiving not less than 3 hours of targeted in class support per week per person; gender based pro social skills group 2 times per week in 8 week intervals; provide Strong Behavior Program to assist a classroom teacher in assuring equitable outcomes for all students; individualized classroom behavior plans along with teacher coaching and motivation to help meet District goal of providing high quality instructional core via the provision of strategies to maintain behaviors that allow instruction to proceed uninterrupted, while meeting the social, emotional and sometime physical health needs of identified students; and provide Restorative Justice coaches help create equitable learning at Allendale Elementary School, ...
