Ratification by Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and HERO, Inc., for the latter to provide 800 hours of service to students as follows: structured activities (organized games & physical activities) for 570 students during five recess periods each day - creative movement sessions for 25 classes (bi-weekly); leadership development for 15 upper grades students (5 hours/week); teacher professional development (1/trimester); dance and aerobic classes; student assemblies (one per trimester); classroom-based social-emotional learning (SEL) sessions (monthly); and mentoring/SEL skills session for 10 students (1 hour/weekly) at Bella Vista Elementary School, for the period of September 1, 2012 through June 14, 2013, at a cost not to exceed $28,000.00.
