Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Linda Johnson, Oakland, CA for the latter to provide 105 hours to engage students in activities that promote awareness of the arts, resulting in student appreciation of the arts, career exploration, and its relationship to daily living as well as improved self-esteem, confidence, and pride in self; use the integration of the arts (i.e. instrumental and/or vocal music, dance, drama, performance arts) to achieve this objective; coordinate and participate in assemblies and other related activities; assist administrator in program coordination, at Burkhalter School, for the period of July 2, 2012 through July 31, 2012, in an amount not to exceed $4,200.00.
