Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Taishi Duchicela, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 1,500 hours of service, being responsible for all aspects of promotion, outreach, recruitment and retention of parents in family-based literacy activities; develop and maintain partnerships with other community-based organizations to strengthen program’s activities; develop resources including materials, curriculum, tools and other resources to support activities; and coordinate and support the school’s efforts in outreaching to parents in order to develop positive relationships with school staff and school administration, at Rudsdale Continuation High School, for the period September 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
