Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and The College Board, Duluth, GA, for the latter to provide, a four day institute, three days of follow-up, of professional services for a period which is mutually selected, agreed upon and scheduled by the College Board and District High School Office within the contract term, to identify strategies for both administrators and teachers to overcome potential barriers to the success of students who may have been underprepared for the rigorous expectations of an Advanced Placement (AP) course; to develop strategies to build and strengthen the infrastructural to support AP students and teachers; to provide follow-up sessions that will support leadership of the Advance Placement Program and classroom implementation of strategies that meet the needs of all Advanced Placement students from High School Network, for the period June 19, 2012 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $80,000.00.
