Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Peacemakers, Inc., San Leandero, CA, for the latter to provide 440 hours of service to Focal Students identified by the administrator and teacher, who are English Language Learners and would benefit from one-to-one and small group intervention, by Peacmakers Site Coordinator, an Academic Mentor 1,an Academic Mentor 2, and an Academic Mentor 3, to provide Pull Out Classroom Support - one-to-one academic tutoring support provided for targeted students in their most challenging classes - and Pull Out Literacy Support - small group literacy support provided for targeted students- at East Oakland Pride Elementary School, for the period May 1, 2012 through June 15, 2012, in a not to exceed amount of $8,8000.00.
