Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and UpFront Interpreting, Alamo, CA, for the latter to provide support for OUSD employees that are Deaf and hard-of-hearing to ensure effective interaction between students, staff, and families; provide assistance with American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, captioning services and written communication for both staff and students; interpret during teaching lessons, Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, parent conferences, teacher collaboration sessions, professional development meetings, and for any other District staff or individual requiring communication support; ensure that the District remains in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by providing reasonable accommodations and facilitating accessible communication in all educational and work-related settings, via Risk Management Department, for the period of October 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026,...
