Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Performance Fact, Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 94.4 hours for pre-retreat planning meetings; 2-day all staff retreat; post-retreat follow-up with principal and leadership team; finalize identification of Vital Signs of students learning, teaching practices, leadership practices and organizational practices; all-staff training session on standards-based instructional planning school-wide and grade-level teams (August retreat; 1st two weeks of school); on-site classroom monitoring and feedback regarding Santa Fe's Vital Signs of Student Learning and Teaching Practices (weekly); training for Principal and Instructional Leadership Team regarding Data Summit and CPR Card tools; principal coaching session (2 hours per week); Instructional Leadership Team training and facilitation (2 hours every 2 weeks); September 1, training for grade-level teams regarding data-driven monitoring of day-to-day instruction and Vital Signs; September 8, grade-level team meetings to reflect on baseline Vital Signs data (Student Learning and Teaching Practices); September 15, Training for grade-level teams on Data Summit process; September 22, Grade-level mini-Data Summit; September 29, Whole-school Data Summit regarding experiences and lessons learned during first 30 days at Santa Fe Elementary School, for the period August 16, 2010 through September 30, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $11,800.00.
