Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Playworks, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide comprehensive support delivered by a fully trained Playworks Coach who implements strategies, games, and systems to develop and sustain a positive educational culture for everyone, starting at recess; to use recess time to facilitate core games, sports, skill-building activities, and cooperative games; provide classroom teachers with Class Game Time and facilitate the establishment of a Junior Coach Leadership Program (JCLP), and in the event of school closure, facilitation of virtual alternatives, as described in Exhibit A, at Manzanita Community Elementary School, for the period of November 1, 2021 through May 25, 2022, in an amount not to exceed $33,900.00.
