Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Olivia Higgins, Alameda, CA, for the latter to work as a consultant to the Healthy Oakland Teens (HOT Program Manager) and the Behavioral Health Director to: 1) Provide consultation to identify gaps in the lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, trans-gender, and questioning (LGBTQ) programming; 2) Assist in design and development of training materials for administrators and school site staff professional development as it relates to meeting the needs of the lesbian, gay, bi -sexual, trans-gender, and questioning youth and families; 3) Support teachers in the implementation of anti-bullying curriculum; 4) Design and implement 1 full day ES district training; and 5) Serve as a content expert for on-site technical assistance to schools as needed, through the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of September 1, 2014 through June 30, 2015, in the amount not to exceed $15,000.00...
