Title: Public Hearing and Adoption by the Board of Education of the District 2012-2013 Fiscal Year Budget - all Funds - in the amount of $589,122,109.00 with Special Education current funding level appropriation to be maintained for the 2012-13 school year by using $1.750 million of the Ending Fund Balance to support Special Education with the following conditions: the Superitnendent and staff are directed to work with Special Education Parents/Teachers to implement the adopted District's Parent Engagement Policy; to get the input, come back and evaluate, do assessments and to be able to make recommendations to the Board and the public in terms of the future operations of Special Education and establish a Special Work Session on Special Education to hear from staff and the public so that the Board can approve a future Special Education Plan for the District.
