Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Shirley Yee, Oakland, CA, for the latter to be responsible for the overall project management of the Office of Alternative Education's Measure Y Gang Prevention Grant, with specific duties including the following: 1) Outreach and coordination for 33 gang awareness trainings to Oakland schools and partner agencies; 2) Oversight, outreach, and coordination for Parent Workshop Series; 3) Data collection and reporting as required for program evaluation and grant reporting; 4) Coordination and facilitation of quarterly Interagency Gang Prevention Collaborative; and 5) Quarterly presentations to local Neighborhood Crime Prevention Councils, for the period of September 2, 2013 through June 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $23,400.00.
