Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2023-2024 by and between the District and Hope Reimagined, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide a counselor to provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 mental health support services to individual students and groups, with individual counseling focusing on somatic awareness and mindfulness techniques to help students identify their feelings and regulate their emotions; and ongoing group counseling to help students navigate school and social pressures including communicating with teachers, self-advocacy and friendship building, each as further described in Exhibit A of the Agreement, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Chabot Elementary School, for the period of January 8, 2024 through June 28, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $15,000.00.
