Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Vanessa Flynn, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide 10 hours of one-and-one-half days of professional development for staff in the Read, Think Apply Program so that teachers may become familiar with the modified Program over the summer; to provide grade level specific binder to each participant to guide Open Court Instruction in the fall; to provide standards mapping and planning agenda to ensure that each grade level covers all grade level standards, including those missed in Open Court; to use first two days of each week to focus on specific skills and standards while the last three days are focused on differentiated instructional practice on these based on student reading levels at Hoover Elementary School for the period of June 8, 2010 through June 9, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $650.00.
