Title: Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and H.E.R.O., Inc., Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide two trained and qualified staff who will organize and facilitate a variety of games 1-1/2 hours a day, five days a week between the hours of 4:30-6pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 3-4:30pm on Wednesdays for 40 students; facilitate in the fifteen minute interim after the last recess a rotating group of thirty 4th and 5th grade students meeting with the consultants to develop leadership skills which the students will subsequently practice during the break times; and perform other services described in the Scope of Work incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Laurel Elementary School, for the period December 1, 2009 through June 4, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $16,400.00.
