Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Laila Jenkins-Perez, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide up to 695 hours of consulting services to the Expanded Learning Office with the following key responsibilities: Review summer lead agency applications and summer planning tools to inform professional development and coaching supports; review existing data and conduct additional needs assessment, as needed, to inform professional development and technical assistance supports from the Expanded Learning Office; Facilitate summer learning professional learning community for summer lead agency partners; Provide on-site program and partnership development support at OUSD summer hubs, including facilitating conversations with multiple partners at individual school sites regarding shared space; Conduct site visits to summer programs and provide on-site coaching and technical assistance as needed, to support effective program operations, quality, and partnerships; Engage in collaborative planning sessions with the Expanded Learning Office’s summer planning team and support implementation of summer trainings, via said Office, for the period of December 1, 2016 through August 31, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $31,275.00.
