Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No, 2, Independent Consultant Agreement for Professional Services between District and KDI Consultants, Inc., Oakland, CA, providing for change in Scope of Work, for the latter due to the modernization project going beyond the expected substantial completion date with several deviation notices related to structural safety, fire life safety and accessibilites and to extend the schedule due to the large amount of subcontractors monitoring and re-inspections in conjunction with the Lowell Middle School Modernization Project, in an additional amount not to exceed $16,720,00, increasing the Contract not to exceed amount from $356,250.00 to $372,970.00, and extending the Contract period of May 27, 2010 through May 1, 2012 to April 10, 2013. All other terms and conditions of the Contract remain in full force and effect.
