Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and EliteGamingLIVE, Inc., Columbia, MD, for the latter to provide an online learning hub where students can develop gaming skills, explore esports related career pathways, and access education resources year round; with unlimited practice days, allowing them to train, refine strategies and collaborate with teammates at their own pace; serving 17 middle school campuses across the District, with each site having the capacity to engaged up to 60 students per competitive season; across three seasons during the academic year, equating to 1,020 student each season, resulting in 3,060 student participation opportunities annually, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of August 26, 2026 through May 31, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $237,709.49.
