Title
Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Strategic Cities, Oakland, CA, for the latter to develop:
1. Develop CSSSP written resources and guides to help build school and community capacity to engage in effective school improvement planning that involves all school stakeholders;
2. Provide leadership in the development, coordination, and facilitation of CSSSP engagements, events and activities on the school improvement planning process;
3. Coordinate with central leaders and departments within Oakland Unified School District to improve tools and resources for school improvement planning;
4. Coordinate with community based organizations partnering with the Oakland Unified School District to help build parent and family capacity to engage in school improvement planning process.
5. Provide leadership in the development, coordination, and facilitation of CSSSP Executive Board and Implementation Team; and
6. Coordinate data gathering, analysis, and writing of a position paper and recommendations on the current development of OUSD school site leadership toward the District's vision of FSCS leadership and on the central supports working toward that vision
through the Quality, Accountability and Analytics Department, for the period of February 21, 2014 through June 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00.
