Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Alina Faaola, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide services that focus on, but not limited to, students of Pacific Islander background, to provide them resources to succeed in school, empower their communities, and prepare them to thrive after high school, including developing a culture appropriate program, serving as liaison between students and families, do home visits as needed, do grade and attendance checks, and perform duties that require attention to students overall behavior and progress to ensure long-term excellence, and other services, as described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Castlemont High School, for the period of January 04, 2017 through June 30, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $20,000.00.
