Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Bonnie Allen, Oakland, CA, for the latter to engage students in activities that promote awareness of the arts, resulting in student appreciation of the arts, career exploration, and its relationship to daily living, as well as, improved self-esteem, confidence, and pride in self; use the integration of the arts (i.e., Instrumental and /or vocal music, dance, drama, and /or spirit ) to achieve the foregoing objective; coordinate and participate in assemblies and other related activities; and assist administrator in program coordination for the Oakland Fine Arts Summer Program, via the Community Schools and Student Services Department, for the period of June 22, 2015 through July 17, 2015, in an amount not to exceed $4,500.00.
