Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Man Cheng, for the latter to coach students in percussion, bowing, and plucking instruments; teach individual lessons and music theory to students; teach a music ensemble class; musical techniques, note reading, proper phrasing of Chinese and other multicultural folksongs and orchestral music, fifteen hours per week; provide instruction on the history of Chinese and Asian music and use music and songs to teach students about history as well as increase their literacy in History and Language arts, for the period of January 6, 2014 through April 30, 2014, in an amount not to exceed $6,500.00.
