Approval by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and CircleUp Education, LLC, Castro Valley, CA, for the latter to support the school community in addressing deep rooted conflict, harm and misunderstanding that is having a direct impact on the climate and culture in the school community; provide staff and family members with the opportunity to work with an outside organization to receive recommendations and guidance on how to repair the harm, using both preventive and responsive conflict resolution practices; deepen understanding of the root causes of conflict to prevent such from recurring in the future through Facilitation of Relationship Building Practices; One-on-One Consulting; and Additional Conflict Resolution Support, at Redwood Heights Elementary School, for the term November 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $3750.00.
