Approval by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and Destiny Arts Center, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide approximately 150 Manzanita students with an average of 30 hours of Martial Arts instruction and Social and Emotional skills to further their growth as individuals and a community; grow their skills in and knowledge of Martial Arts, as well as become familiar with and practice the tenets of the Warrior’s Code: Love, Care, Respect, Honor, Responsibility, Peace; and a culmination of work will be showcased sometime during the school year for the school and community to view and celebrate at Manzanita Community Elementary School, for the period of September 8, 2026 through May 30, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
