Ratification by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1 - Professional Services Contract between District and Peacemakers, Inc, San Leandro, CA, for the latter to provide an additional 1,000 hours to work one hour per day with thee 21% of Santa Fe's students who were identified as truant; assist with the kids arriving to school on time everyday; make contact with the students who arrive on-time everyday; identify and track students who are late or absent; maintain documentation and identify a pattern of truancy and contact the parent via phone or home visits; and identify students whose attendance has improved and provide awards/incentives, at Santa Fe Elementary School, for the period September 15, 2011 through June 15, 2012, in the additional amount of $20,000.00, increasing the not to exceed amount of Contract from $8,000.00 to $28,000.00. All other terms and conditions of Contract remain in full force and effect.
