Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Oakland Kids First, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide Advisory Curriculum Development by drafting a year-long advisory curriculum framework and outline that teachers will run with their Advisory classes twice per week for the duration of the school year, with a focus on: The Knight Way, socioemotional learning, college and career readiness, and academic skill; and have students create and present a culminating project relating to the curriculum at the end of each marking period, within timeframes specified in Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Castlemont High School, for the period September 1, 2016 through June 9, 2017, in an amount not to exceed $50,000.00.
