Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Dania Cabello, Oakland, CA, for the latter to plan and co-facilitate family/community meetings to reach a minimum of 100 newly arrived refugee adults; plan orientation and enrollment days for newly arrived refugees from at least five communities; conduct targeted outreach to Spanish and Mam-speaking asylee students about RASAP activities and services; conduct outreach to all schools at which refugee students are enrolled and advocate for spaces in their summer programs; conduct outreach to 100% of District's refugee families about available summer school and summer program options (through their own schools and through RASAP programming); and support newly-enrolled students to access summer programming and after school activities for the period of March 1, 2013 through June 30, 2013, in an amount not to exceed $16,000.00.
