Title: Approval by the Board of Education of First Amendent of Letter of Agreement (LOA) entered into by and between Oakland Unified School District ("OUSD") and Education for Change (EFC) regarding the use of a portion of the public site within District, known as Hawthorne Elementary School ("Hawthorne"), 1700 28th Avenue, Oakland CA 94601, commencing July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2012, enabling EFC to operate charter schools known as Achieve Academy, a primary (4-5) charter school and World Academy, a primary (K-5) charter school, pursuant to purpose and terms stated in said Letter of Agreement, by renewing the Agreement, subject to form and content approval by General Counsel, for an additional five (5) year term, commencing July 1, 2012, and expiring June 30, 2017 (“Extended Term”), for an annual fee payable to Leassor ("OUSD") of $180,026.65, subject to all the terms and conditions of the Agreement as hereby amended. .
