Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2026-2027 by and between the District and Children Rising, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide its Success By Reading Program (SbR), a one-on-one, twice weekly tutoring program for second and third graders provided during school hours for students referred by the school staff who lack foundational reading skills, and are typically 1 ½ - 2+ years behind in their grade level skills at Brookfield Elementary School, for the period of October 5, 2026, through May 27, 2027, in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00.
