Title: Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Zachary Reidman, Berkeley, CA, for the latter work with Rudsdate Newcomer school administration to facilitate a weekly group of up to 12 student leaders (recruited and referred by staff) to transition the food distribution program to King Estates School site to support outreach to students and families, undertake ongoing quality improvements, actively engage in food sourcing from partners (including ACCFB), solicit community donations and organize direct deliveries to families as needed. Approval by the Board of Education of Amendment No. 1, Services Agreement 2021-2022 by and between the District and Zachary Reidman, Berkeley, CA, for the latter work with Rudsdate Newcomer school administration to facilitate a weekly group of up to 12 student leaders (recruited and referred by staff) to transition the food distribution program to King Estates School site to support outreach to students and families, undertake ongoing quality improvements, actively engage in food sourcing from partners (including ACCFB), solicit community donations and organize direct deliveries to families as needed. Leaders will also support in designing and creating welcoming outdoor spaces (gardens, cooking areas, outdoor classroom areas) for students and staff in Fall 2021 in coordination with school  staff; provide returning and recently enrolled students will receive elective credits (as needed) and cash/check stipends to support school’s transition to the King Estates campus and continuity of food security programs in the 2021-2022 school year, in the additional amount not to exceed $16,670.50, increasing the not to exceed amount of Agreement from $15,000.00 to $31,670.50, via the English Language Larner and Multilingual Achievement Department. All other terms and conditions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect.
