Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Partners In School Innovation, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide 1,280 hours of services to provide assistance in development and implementation of data report structures tools, response to intervention system; train grade level leads, teachers, coaches, support staff, and administration on compiling reports, data analysis; academic intervention support to students basic and below; support school-wide collaborative professional development for teachers and staff; conduct weekly professional development aligned to Single Plan for Student Achievement; support biweekly Professional Learning Communities to support instructional practice; increase overall English Language Arts scores (California Standards Test results) by a minimum of 10%; increase number of students scoring proficient in English Language Arts by a minimum of 20% to increase the knowledge base and resources available to assist students in achieving high academic success for the period August 26, 2009 through June 11, 2010 in an amount not to exceed $40,000.00 at Brookfield Elementary School.
