Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Mindful Life Project/YMCA of the East Bay, Richmond, CA, for the latter to provide services for healing the social-emotional problems that plague under served, inner city schools by providing an educational experience that positively impacts the behavioral patterns of students, including interventions, that guide students to make positive life choices both at school and in the community, through teaching mindfulness, expressive arts, yoga and the performing arts, as further described in the Scope of Work, incorporated herein by reference as though fully set forth, at Lafayette Elementary School, for the term September 1, 2016 through December 30, 2016, in an amount not to exceed $5600.00.
