Approval by the Board of Education of Resolution No. 1011-1096 - Award of Bid and Construction Contract between District and Redgwick Construction, Newark, CA, for the latter as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder and rejecting all other bids, if any, to remove and reinstall benches; remove trees (3-large trees); new garden area; remove and replace aggregate base; 2" decomposed granite; concrete seat wall at (E) garden area trees; flush curb at garden area; drainage at garden area; underground drainage system at main yard; irrigation for (N) trees at Classroom Building; tree well / seat wall at Classroom Building; trees 48" boxes (4) installed; replace asphalt at Kindergarten Yard; replace asphalt at Main Yard; (N) site furniture; re-stripe pavement; (N) 8" concrete driveway; (N) concrete driveway / ramp; (N) chain link fencing at concrete driveway, which includes a contingency of $70,000.00 in conjunction with the Santa Fe Elementary School Paving Replacement Project for the period commencing May 26, 2011 and ending August 4, 2011 in the amount of $558,800.00.
