Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between the District and Julia DeGuzman, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide support to families and parents by holding several family engagement nights, with a focus on how to support the child and his/her academic success while transitioning from middle school to high school and for families to learn about academics and resources available to support the student; serve as liaison between the families and the school site to ensure that families know all information about how to help the student thrive; create and organize media and documents for the new families and the community about academics and resources available on campus for Oakland High School, for the period of August 1, 2019 through June 1, 2020, in an amount not to exceed $7,975.00.
