Title: Ratification by the Board of Education of a Professional Services Contract between District and Partners In School Innovation, San Francisco, CA, for the latter to provide 223 hours working with the school-site staff to provide the following Professional Development: Build teacher's capacity to collect and analyze data, identify appropriate intervention support for students who are Basic and Below Basic; support school-wide collaborative professional development to further develop instructional practice for teachers, coaches and school leaders on a regular basis, resulting in increased overall California Standards Test-English Language Arts scores that exceeds the state's average scores by at least 2 times and measurable growth in the school's capacity to increase student achievement for all students, at RISE Community School, for the period September 1, 2009 through June 30, 2010, in an amount not to exceed $10,000.00.
