Ratification by the Board of Education of a Services Agreement 2025-2026 by and between the District and Elevate Oakland, Oakland, CA, for the latter to provide services to implement special new projects that will continue to strengthen the quality of OUSD music programs and support the artistic growth of students in East Oakland; develop an articulated vocal music program from elementary through high school; manage the development and implementation of the East Oakland Vocal Music Project; provide a vocal music curriculum; provide teaching artists to work with OUSD teachers to provide vocal music enrichment experiences to students in participating schools; and produce a culminating performance at Castlemont High School in April of 2026, via Academics and Instruction Department, for the period of September 9, 2025 through May 22, 2026, in an amount not to exceed $30,000.00.
